Parent Resource Center

Parent communication: The best way to communicate with our staff is through Procare Connect. We use Procare to sign students in and out, send messages to parents, manage billing, and send activity updates throughout the day. Parents are not permitted to contact the teachers outside of Procare. We ask that you respect their personal time. If you send a message in Procare outside of operating hours, it will be answered as soon as possible during the next business day.

Sign in and out: Make sure you are signing your child in and out on Procare every day. This is a state requirement and ensures all students are accounted for at all times.

Billing is set up through Procare. If you choose to set up your billing using a credit or debit card, there will be a processing fee of $5.50 added to your invoice. If you would like to avoid this extra fee, make sure to set up your billing using ACH. If choosing this option, you will need to enter your account and routing number.

We have door security that only allows people that have been invited and have the Avigilon app to open the door. When you receive the invite please make sure you get it set up so we can troubleshoot any problems before your first day.

In the event the facility must be evacuated because of an emergency/disaster, staff will safely move children to our off site safe location: CFSB located at 100 Dick Castleman Bypass, Mayfield, Ky, 42066.

If your child has allergies, is lactose intolerant, or has any other restrictions that are required to be followed, you will need to provide a doctor’s note stating this prior to your start date. We participate with the federal food program and we have to abide by their requirements.

Our hours of operation are 7am-5pm Monday through Friday.

No students are allowed to be dropped off before 7:00am.

If a student is picked up after 5:00pm there will be a late fee of $1 per minute after 5:00pm. This fee is to be paid at pick up that day. If it is not paid at pick up the child will be unable to return until the fee has been paid.

All students must be dropped off before 9:00 AM. If your child has a morning doctor’s appointment scheduled, and only if it is pre-approved by management, they must be dropped off by 10:30 AM at the latest.

Invoices are sent out on Fridays for the following week. Tuition is due at this time. If it is not paid by the end of the day on Monday there is a late fee of $20 assessed. If the tuition is not paid, late fee included, by the end of the day Tuesday, the child will not be able to attend until it is paid in full.

First Steps

While your child is at Mother Goose Academy we will do occasional developmental screenings to ensure they are meeting all of their milestones. If we determine that there is a need for a professional screening to determine whether a child could benefit from early intervention we may refer you to Kentucky Early Intervention System KEIS. A referral does not mean that there is a significant delay, however, there might be an area that your child is a little behind in and this program can help make sure they are set up for success when they reach school age. If you would like to look into this program it can be found at the following link: https://4rbh.org/additional-services/first-steps/

CDC Milestones
